The Hammersmith Hills Hoists Rugby League Football Club (HHHRLFC) is based in the West London Borough of Hammersmith and Fulham and our aim is to provide the chance to play competitive rugby league in London and the surrounding areas, to meet new people, make new contacts and have fun in playing & developing the sport we love.

The Hills Hoists were established at the end of 2008 by Australian ex-pats living in West London. The club was establish at the West London area of Hammersmith, Acton, Shepherds Bush which lacked a Rugby League team but possessed many potential players.

In the clubs inaugural season, 2009 the club won:

  • The London League Grand Final
  • Skolars RL inviational 9's tournament
  • 2009 ANZAC Rugby Challenge - Rugby League

The club were also victorious in the first ever game of Rugby League in Belgium against the Belgium National Rugby League Team & played the Royal Navy & Airforce. The Hills Hoists also played against the Metropolitan Police at the Twickenham Stoop as a curtain raiser for a Harlequins Super League game.

Season 2010 will see the Hammersmith Hills Hoists move up to the Rugby League Conference - Southern Premier Division and also compete in the London League via a 2nds team. Also high on the priority list will be defending the ANZAC Rugby Challenge title and potential games in Europe against developing nations.
